Spring Cleanup at Sagtikos Manor
SATURDAY, April 5th, 2008 from 9 am til 2 pm
Join the fun to clean the grounds at Long Island's most historic
home...THE SAGTIKOS MANOR
There's raking, trimming, planting, road repair and many more things to do...
Come join the fun!
Many gardening tools are available. We will provide Coffee and Sandwiches.
All Volunteers will also receive a FREE TICKET to tour the Manor at a
later time when the manor is open for regular tours.
Please park in the parking lot at Gardiner County Park, just across Montauk
Highway (Route 27A).
In case of severe weather, the clean-up will be on Saturday, April
19th.
People handling brush should be equipped with protective glasses and gloves. A
few pairs of each will be available on a first come-first served basis. People
allergic to poison ivy and English Ivy should avoid handling brush. People
allergic to sore muscles should be spectators.
